About

The Keystone Clippers is a model airplane club dedicated to building and flying radio controlled aircraft. We have been in existence since 1964 and we are an officially chartered member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA).
The current flying site was developed by a small group of devoted modelers. After leasing the property for several years, it was purchased by the Club members. The property is approximately 10 acres. We have 2 runways - the main runway is about 800 ft (east-west) and we also have a 250 ft cross runway. Wind is predominately west to east which gives us full benefit of the main runway.
Our field is located in southwestern Pennsylvania about 1.5 miles from Rillton, Pa near the town of Irwin. Our physical address is 210 Oggs Lane Irwin PA 15642. Our GPS coordinates are 40o 16.00′ 46.00″ N 79o 44.00′ 43.00″ W.
Instructors are available to help new members learn to fly. Our monthly business meetings are held on the last Monday of each month. Combined business meeting and family picnics are usually the last Sunday June through September. Potential members are invited.
