Field Report
Field is good condition, the runway is flyable for larger or STOL aircraft. Club will fly on New Years Day at 12 pm weather permitting.
Old Business
Please have your 2022 dues paid by December 31 to avoid the $25.00 late fee.
The Club is continuing to search for a new venue for indoor flying. Bo Kwasny suggested that we poll the membership on the LINE app to determine how many members would be interested in flying on Friday nights. There is a possibility that we can use the Sewickley Rec Center at least once a month at a cost of $44.00 per hour, however we are trying to negotiate a reduced rate.
The annual KCRC Christmas party will again be held at Rodney’s Restaurant on Arona Road, Irwin. The party will be held on December 4th starting at 5pm and expenses will be covered by the Club treasury.
Reminder that RF locators are available for $40.00 each. The transmitters are 1” diameter x ½” thick with Velcro female backing and are easily transferable to any plane. Contact Secy Eric Haberman to document purchase. They are also available at the business meetings.
