Minutes of the 687th Meeting of the Keystone Clippers Model Aircraft ClubAMA Charter 553Monday March 27, 2023
The 687th business meeting of the Keystone Clippers was held at the Circleville United Methodist Church at 7pm and called to order by President Mike Shepherd with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. There were 12 regular members and 3 Officers present. A motion was made and seconded to accept the February meeting minutes posted on the Keystoneclippersrc.com website.ReadingsNoneTreasurer’s ReportNot given.CommunicationsNoneField ReportThe field and runway are in decent condition. Spring cleanup is scheduled for April 22.Old BusinessTaxiway project connecting the pit area to the runway is tentatively scheduled for the 2nd week of May. Bo Kwasny previously reported that the Port Vue Fire Department is interested in using the Club property to practice search and rescue operations with their DJI Matrice drones. Schedule has not been confirmed. New Business President Mike Shepherd talked about adding a security camera to survey the property. The camera contains a lithium battery pack that is charged by a solar panel to operate the pan and tilt functions as well as maintaining normal camera operations, movement is recorded on an SD card. There is a one-time fee for data that can be applied to one or two cell phones. This topic will be discussed further at the April meeting.Next meeting will be held at the Canned Tomato restaurant in Norwin Towne Square on April 24 starting at 7pm. Show and TellNone
