New Business

A motion was made and seconded to cleanup the KCRC facebook page; add projects, tech reports, and any Club/personal aircraft related articles or videos. The Club is asked to submit all material to Bo Kwasny who is the page admin by either the LINE app or email. Our page will also contain local Club announcements and our personal YouTube channel.

Bo Kwasny reported that the Port Vue Fire Department is looking for a place to practice search and rescue operations with their drones – they currently have 9. PVFD drones have used throughout the greater Pittsburgh area for a few years. A motion was made and seconded for Bo to communicate with PVFD and set up a provisional schedule for use of our field subject to Club approval.

The Club discussed adding an RC car track on the property. The east field or the upper portion of the south field adjacent to the parking lot would be potential areas for a temporary track. These locations will be staked out at the field this week for Club members to view and decide if adding an RC car track on the property is an option. Whichever field is selected it will be setup and used on a trial basis for Club members who have current AMA Park Flyer or Full membership.

A motion made and seconded to purchase AMA Walk of Fame bricks for Bruce Heckel, Paul Adomaitis, and Andy Levino.

Mark Yothers has some remaining covering, hardware, and a few airplanes that are available from Jerry’s estate. Contact Mark for details.
