Field Report

The field is in good condition. Jerry was at the field on Sunday 23rd and suggested that we roll the runway as soon as possible. He also noted that the windsock needs replaced and suggested replacing the pole or stabilizing it with removable turnbuckles and guy wires that could be easily removed for mowing. Jerry said he will purchase a new windsock.

Old Business

The third review of the Application for Constitution and By-Laws Change Notice 3 Article II Section 1 was presented to the membership by the Club Secretary. This change will allow unlimited terms for elected Club Officers. The membership voted and unanimously accepted the change which will be incorporated into the Constitution and By-Laws.

Vice President Jim Kealey reviewed the details of the NPRM and its effect on model aviation – twenty four thousand (24000) responses have been received and posted to the Federal Register to date – and he again urged the membership to respond to the FAA by March 2.

New Business

Dates for the KCRC annual picnics and fun-fly will be discussed at the March Meeting.

We would like to get more members flying in the morning and during the week. A tentative schedule will be reviewed at the March meeting.
