Minutes of the 650^th Meeting of the Keystone Clippers Model Aircraft Club

Monday August 26, 2019

The 650^th meeting of the Keystone Clippers was held at the field at 7:00 pm and called to order by President Mike Shepherd with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. There were 10 regular members and 2 Officers present. There was no quorum, so voting on Club issues did not take place.

Treasurer’s Report

The Treasurer’s report was given by Jerry Thomas and approved by the membership. A motion to pay the bills was made and seconded.

 Communications

The MARCS flea market and auction will be held at the Delmont Event Center on Saturday November 2^nd at 8am, auction starts at 9am. Please see the MARCS.org website for more details.

Field Report

The field and equipment are in good condition. We have a fertilizer spreader that is up for disposition – any Club member may have it at no-charge.

Old Business

The final KCRC family picnic will be held on September 14^th. Once again, the Club will provide hotdogs, hamburgers, condiments, and bottled water. Members are responsible for their own beverages other than water, and please bring a covered dish or dessert as usual.

The Club has not decided on purchasing an additional clean sea-land container to store the Cyclone Rake. The second, or clean container has been reorganized to allow more space for the Rake.

The decision to either purchase or build the bat boxes previously discussed at the July meeting has been differed to the September meeting.
