The 638th meeting of the Keystone Clippers was held at the field at 7:00 pm and called to order by President Mike Shepherd with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. There were 15 regular members and 4 Officers present.
The Treasurer’s report was given by Jerry Thomas and approved by the membership. A motion to pay the bills was made and seconded.
Bo talked about the Westmoreland Air Show, and what the great opportunity to display planes there, and how the other clubs participated. He said that the pilots were very nice and stopped to talk to everyone that displayed planes.
Mike asked Bo to remind us before the show comes to town next year and maybe we can set up a few planes as well.
We are still waiting for estimates from a few roofing contractors to repair/replace the damage to the gutter on the north side of the pavilion.
Due to weather, which impacts the landscaper’s schedule, landscaping at the lower end of the driveway has not been started.
Mike Shepherd is going to contact an alternate supplier for insecticide.
We are currently waiting for better weather to complete painting the gate. Rust preventative has already been applied.
